Telinta integrates Google Cloud for highly affordable voicemail transcription

Telinta, a global leader in white label cloud-based switching and billing solutions for VoIP service providers, announced that it has integrated highly cost-effective “speech-to-text” for voicemail transcription provided by Google Cloud. Google Cloud’s automated transcription enables VoIP service providers to easily transcribe voicemails on Telinta’s softswitch platform, and deliver the text to end users via email.  Google Cloud’s sub-penny pricing provides an extremely cost-effective solution for automated voicemail-to-text (v2t) transcription in over 125 languages and dialects using the Telinta customers own Google Cloud account.  Google Cloud provides options specially optimized and tuned for telephony. Telus and Google Cloud sign a 10-year deal

Google Cloud has announced a new 10-year strategic partnership with the Canadian telecommunications company Telus. The two companies plan to work together on developing new services and products for several key industries, including healthcare, agriculture, security and connected homes.   Through this partnership, Telus will accelerate the adoption of its public cloud on the Google Cloud enterprise platform to ensure greater interoperability across its IT backbone and network infrastructure. Google Cloud will also become one of Telus’ partners in providing 5G services and Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), which uses the Google Cloud-powered application platform Anthos.   Telus and Google Cloud will prioritize collaboration to improve their Canadian customers’ social, economic, environmental and health performance, and at the same time, work to reduce their carbon footprint. Google Cloud advances support for open-source technologies

Google Cloud has responded to its customers’ requests for the ability to use open-source technology easily in a cloud-native manner. At Google Cloud Next 2019, the company announced strategic partnerships with seven “leading open source-centric companies” working on data management and analytics. The products from Confluent, DataStax, Elastic, InfluxData, MongoDB, Neo4j and Redis Labs will be integrated into the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and offered as managed services. According to Google, this new project will deliver a seamless user experience in management, billing and support and will simultaneously provide the ability to easily leverage these open-source technologies in Google’s cloud.
