Lightpath is advancing its network expansion in Miami, enhancing connectivity through dark fiber and wavelength services up to 800 Gbps. By late 2025, this expansion will stretch Lightpath’s Miami network to over 80-route miles. Positioned underground, it connects 12 key data centers.
Lightpath has expanded its Phoenix presence by acquiring WANRack’s network assets, adding 133 route miles of fiber infrastructure. This strengthens their service capabilities, connecting 10 key data centers and positioning them near 30 more.
Lightpath, a prominent all-fiber connectivity provider, has announced its agreement to acquire most of United Fiber and Data’s (UFD) assets. This acquisition, pending regulatory approval, is anticipated to be finalized in the third quarter of 2024.
