Netcracker Technology has announced the extension of its long-term collaboration with Ooredoo Qatar. This partnership will see Netcracker continue to provide Managed Services for Ooredoo’s Revenue Management and CRM solutions, supporting both B2C and B2B customers. The enhanced services will cover a broad spectrum of telecom and other sectors, including ICT, IoT, and Cloud, with plans to extend into Fintech and Entertainment.

The Nordic telecom companies Telia and Ericsson have made important progress towards implementing 5G innovations for commercial use across Sweden in 2020, by launching their 5G development platform at KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.  Their hopes are for the network to play a vital role in developing innovative new solutions and services. The KTH campus was chosen as the host venue due to the research such as remote VR, Internet of Things (IoT) and industry automation being conducted at that facility. As anticipated, the European Parliament has voted in favour of the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC). The new EU telecoms rules will open the possibilities for faster access to radio spectrum waves and greater investments in high-speed connectivity. They will also ensure better protection and services for end-users of either traditional (calls, SMS) or web-based solutions (Skype, WhatsApp, etc.).
