Lleida.net, a technology services firm, has secured a new deal with the Spanish telecoms giant Telefonica Global Solutions (TGS) to deliver a broad range of SaaS services to TGS customers around the world.   Registered SMS, Registered email, and Lleida.net platforms such as Click & Sign and Openum are all part of SaaS services. Under the terms of the agreement, Lleida.net will deliver SaaS services to TGS clients in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Chile. Since 2016, Lleida.net has collaborated with Telefonica’s wholesale, roaming and international divisions.   Telefónica Global Solutions is the Telefónica business division responsible for providing innovative solutions in digitalization processes. RingCentral, a US-based provider of high-performance cloud communications and collaboration solutions for businesses, has announced a new high-volume and fully integrated SMS service that allows businesses to send SMS messages and updates to their customers promptly and seamlessly. Developers can build custom applications by using the  Application Programming Interface (API) that interfaces with RingCentral’s business communication platform. RingCentral also provides a service with pre-built applications that can be obtained from the RingCentral App gallery. By using RingCentral phone numbers for bulk SMS messages, companies can send one-time messages or bundle requests. In addition, the company supports message insights, such as status, logs, storage and analysis for more progressive compliance. Dialpad, the US-based business VoIP, video and contact-center service provider has announced $100 million in E Series financing. The funding phase was led by OMERS Growth Equity, Andreessen Horowitz, GV, ICONIQ Capital, Felicis Ventures, Section 32 and Work-Bench. As claimed by the company, its value now exceeds $1.2 billion, based on  the $245 million that it has raised up till now. The new funding will focus on Dialpad innovations and support expanded market strategies. The $1.2 billion evaluation comes as no surprise, as the demand in the market is growing. The company says its annual revenue figure now exceeds $100 million. In addition, Dialpad has recently focused on its artificial intelligence solutions. In 2018, the company launched its VoiceAI service and now provides many AI solutions as part of its voice intelligence service. Zoom Video Communications, a provider of video telephony and online chat services, and Lumen, a global enterprise technology platform, have announced that the companies will work together to allow Lumen to offer Zoom as part of its Unified Communications and Collaboration Suite. Lumen will deliver improved services based on Zoom’s video-first UC platform to its global customer base. The partnership will provide greater delivery, customer success and managed services to companies using Zoom, in order to provide a unique business experience when using the services. Lumen will also combine the security of its embedded network with Zoom’s built-in security features to actively protect customers that are using bundled services.
