Exploring Apple’s groundbreaking leap in silicon innovation with their latest M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max products, it’s evident that personal computer processing is being redefined. Promising substantially expedited rendering times and performance enhancements across the board, Apple offers these not as mere upgrades, but as game-changers in the hardware world. Furthermore, these innovations signal noteworthy shifts in the broader landscape of PC CPU chips, traditionally dominated by Intel and AMD, now facing exciting competition. Dive deeper to discover the impact of these changes in the world of technology.

This week, the tech giant Samsung officially introduced the industry’s first 1 TB embedded Universal Flash Storage (eUFS) chip for smartphones. The terabyte-sized native storage solution will considerably enrich the company’s mobile devices, eliminating the need to install additional microSD cards for handling large capacities. Samsung has already begun mass production of the storage chip, however there is no clear indication of when they will be installed in smartphones. “The 1TB eUFS is expected to play a critical role in bringing a more notebook-like user experience to the next generation of mobile devices,” said Cheol Choi, Executive vice president of Memory Sales and Marketing at Samsung Electronics. “What’s more, Samsung is committed to assuring the most reliable supply chain and adequate production quantities to support the timely launches of upcoming flagship smartphones in accelerating growth of the global mobile market.” The new eUFS memory chip measures the same…

A consortium of nine technology companies – Intel, Cisco, Dell EMC, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Facebook, Google, Alibaba and Huawei – has been formed in order to create and launch a new standard, called Compute Express Link (CXL). This project will accelerate ever-expanding data workloads, such as high-performance computing, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), rich media services, and cloud applications. Jim Pappas, director of technology initiatives at Intel, said in a statement: “CXL is an important milestone for data-centric computing and will be a foundational standard for an open, dynamic accelerator ecosystem. Like USB and PCI Express, which Intel also cofounded, we can look forward to a new wave of industry innovation and customer value delivered through the CXL standard.” The new cluster of tech giants, described as “the biggest group of influencers driving a modern interconnect standard”, also affirmed the CXL Specification 1.0, which enables…

Samsung phone fans are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming release of Samsung’s Galaxy S10 trio, including the top of the range model – the Galaxy S10 Plus. The new smartphone series is expected to be put on display for the first time at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona next month. As we get closer to that expo date, additional details of this high-end smartphone are being revealed. Vision – Dynamic, Private, Detect The expectations are set high with three new trademarks applicable to these phones – Dynamic Vision, Private Vision and Detect Vision, which Samsung Electronics submitted for patents at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) last December. The company is working hard on biometrics and eye movement control for the S10 series, and the advanced technology of the camera makes it possible to record videos at a speed up to 2000 frames per second. Three…
