Sitetracker and VETRO have unveiled a partnership aimed at accelerating the deployment of fiber networks. Announced at Fiber Connect 2024, this collaboration integrates VETRO’s FiberMap with Sitetracker’s deployment operations management software, providing broadband customers with enhanced geospatial design data to streamline their planning and deployment processes.

The enhanced integration between VETRO’s FiberMap and Sitetracker enriches GIS-driven workflows and visualizes network buildouts. This integration allows for companywide visibility into programs and projects, optimizes resource allocation, and ensures smoother transitions between project phases. The seamless interaction between engineering and construction teams is a highlight of this partnership.

“Fiber network deployments and expansions are complex and require intricate coordination across multiple teams and systems,” said Giuseppe Incitti, CEO of Sitetracker. He emphasized the need for precision, detail, and insights as operators and contractors work to meet aggressive FTTH buildout targets and manage funding. With VETRO’s mapping capability, Sitetracker customers gain an end-to-end fiber solution that enhances their project execution.

Key features of this integration include the easy importation of fiber designs, automatic assignment of work to design elements, and real-time status updates linked directly to designs. Sitetracker’s platform, now enhanced with these capabilities, is expected to unlock new efficiencies and revolutionize broadband landscape management.

“Sitetracker is unlocking new efficiencies and management solutions that, combined with our intuitive fiber management system, are radically transforming the broadband landscape,” said Will Mitchell, CEO of VETRO. He expressed confidence that this partnership will bring greater clarity and control over fiber networks, thereby improving network and business performance globally.
