Converge ICT is partnering with Ribbon Communications to introduce the Apollo optical networking system in the Philippines. This new technology will upgrade Converge’s fiber network capacity from 800 Gbps to 1.2 Tbps per channel, tripling the needed capacity for large-scale applications. The advanced 5-nm chipset improves performance, energy efficiency, and heat management, offering cost and power savings. Converge will also use Ribbon’s Muse SDN Domain Orchestration for better network efficiency.
