Sparkle, Italy’s leading global telecom provider, has announced the pre-order release of its groundbreaking Quantum Safe over Internet (QSI) service. Debuting as part of Sparkle’s new Network as a Service (NaaS) suite, QSI is the first of several products planned to offer secure, flexible network solutions. This announcement was made at the Global NaaS Event (GNE) in Dallas, organized by MEF, where Sparkle is demonstrating the QSI service live to industry professionals.

QSI brings advanced security to corporate communications by establishing quantum-secure connections that are protected against emerging cyber risks from quantum computing. This innovation has been successfully tested on a VPN between Italy and Germany and on Sparkle’s fiber-optic infrastructure in Athens, ensuring safe, MEF-compliant access across international networks. Through post-quantum encryption, Sparkle’s solution enables businesses to securely connect offices and access cloud services with enhanced resilience against future cyber threats.

The service will be accessible through Sparkle’s dedicated portal or API, allowing for seamless and automated integration into existing networks. Currently, customers can pre-order QSI in Paris, London, and Athens, enabling access to Sparkle’s network with post-quantum encryption that will safeguard sensitive data across borders.

Daniele Mancuso, Sparkle’s Chief of Marketing & Product Management, highlighted the importance of QSI as a proactive step in securing digital interactions. “With today’s rapid advancements in AI and the interconnected nature of the digital world, secure communications are essential,” Mancuso said, adding that QSI’s combination of NaaS and post-quantum security places Sparkle as a leader in addressing the future cybersecurity landscape.
