Cisco’s new features and capabilities for Webex CX portfolio

DSTNY acquires easybell

German cloud communications company easybell has been acquired by European corporate communications provider Dstny. Easybell offers Cloud PBX and VoIP communications to B2B customers. They are rapidly expanding and fiercely competitive in the German market because of their entirely digital strategy and well-distributed network of 2,000 partners. They are in a good position to handle the Dstny activities in Germany with € 28M in revenue, 75 employees, and completely automated processes.

Hammer adds new features to its VoiceWatch platform

Hammer, a worldwide provider of end-to-end contact center testing and CX assurance solutions, has unveiled additional VoiceWatch platform features. The new data banking function allows call centers to easily monitor service availability for thousands of customer-facing phone lines. VoiceWatch now provides ongoing 24/7 testing of critical client-facing phone numbers and customer journeys with less set-up time.

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise partners with Talksoon

A distribution collaboration has been established between Talksoon and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. As part of the broker concept, Talksoon will promote Rainbow Office as a master broker. Rainbow Office, powered by RingCentral, is an all-in-one, low-cost business communication, and collaboration solution. Rainbow Office is delivered to the client by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, which also provides second-level presales and post-sales support to Talksoon and the TBA as needed. The collaboration is fast spreading across Europe, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Apple to comply with EU USB-C mandate

By 2024, all smartphones must support USB-C charging, as determined by European authorities. Apple had said that it will abide by the rules established by the European Union, which provide a uniform charging protocol for mobile phones and other portable electrical devices. The senior Apple executives, though, gave the impression that they aren’t very pleased with the new regulations.
