Netcracker Technology has announced a major collaboration with 4iG, a leading Hungarian communications group, to overhaul the IT infrastructure of its subsidiaries, Vodafone Hungary and DIGI. This ambitious initiative will see all retail customers migrated to Netcracker’s comprehensive IT suite, encompassing the Netcracker Digital BSS and OSS systems, which are key components of the Netcracker Digital Platform.

The extensive project aims to unify the operations of Vodafone Hungary and DIGI under a single, cloud-ready IT framework. This transformation is expected to enhance automation and centralize processes, significantly improving the customer experience by fostering an integrated operational environment.

4iG’s subsidiaries, along with their customers, will benefit from a broad application development partnership. This collaboration is designed to support a growing retail customer base and a diverse array of business needs and processes.

To maintain and enhance service levels, 4iG will continue utilizing Netcracker’s comprehensive managed services. This approach is geared towards ensuring operational stability while implementing Agile methodologies and DevOps automation to deliver new functionalities, operational improvements, and updates more swiftly.

Tamás Bányai, CEO of Vodafone Hungary, emphasized the importance of this partnership, noting the continuous improvements in operational stability and development quality achieved through their collaboration with Netcracker. “As we integrate our partners into our network, the strength of this relationship will be crucial, and we anticipate many successful projects ahead,” he stated.

Benedetto Spaziani, General Manager at Netcracker, expressed pride in supporting 4iG’s business growth and customer expansion. “We are thrilled to be part of this significant migration project and to assist 4iG in streamlining its operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience,” he commented.
