Strategic Imperatives, a leading UK provider of SaaS provisioning, connectivity, and monetization solutions for the telecom industry, recently announced the addition of Altnets Trooli and OFNL to its Fibre Café platform. This integration allows both companies to capitalize on the platform’s unified interface, enhancing their access to the UK’s expanding FTTx ecosystem and tapping into new wholesale market opportunities.

With Trooli and OFNL joining the ranks, The Fibre Café platform now supports an additional 500,000 premises. “We are thrilled to welcome Trooli and OFNL to The Fibre Café and look forward to supporting their wholesale growth as a key partner,” said Wail Sabbagh, Managing Director at Strategic Imperatives. This partnership offers streamlined onboarding, enhanced automation, and direct access to an expanding pool of service providers, providing both companies a competitive edge.

Trooli, which has a strong presence in rural and semi-rural areas, joins the platform as part of its wholesale strategy. Rhiannon O’Neill, the newly appointed Wholesale Director, is heading this initiative. Andy Conibere, CEO at Trooli, expressed optimism about the partnership: “We are delighted to be joining The Fibre Café which enables us to further deliver upon Trooli’s wholesale strategy, by enabling smooth interoperability between us and our wholesale partners, partners who will already have access to 370,000 Ready for Service Premises, with more to come on the Trooli network.”

OFNL, known for its ultrafast fibre networks catering to new-build housing and commercial developments, also stands to benefit substantially from this partnership. The company currently supports over 80 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and specializes in automating the Lead To Cash process. Andrew Robinson, Managing Director at OFNL, commented: “At OFNL, our wholesale-first strategy has already attracted over 80 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to offer a wide range of residential and business packages on our network. We look forward to working with The Fibre Café to empower our ISPs to automate their provisioning process and further streamline the onboarding process for new ISPs joining our expanding network.”
