AccessPlus, an affiliate of the RingSquared organization, announced its acquisition of Crocker Communications, Inc., a prominent telecommunications provider in Greenfield and Springfield, Massachusetts. The deal, pending approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and state regulatory bodies, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024.
This acquisition allows AccessPlus to expand its infrastructure significantly across Western Massachusetts. Crocker Communications, which has around 2,000 clients, including government, education, and residential sectors, brings invaluable assets to AccessPlus. The company’s strong customer base and exclusive internet access to Block Island, Rhode Island, highlight its established reputation.
Following the acquisition, AccessPlus plans to integrate Crocker’s customers into its fiber broadband network. This expansion will begin in Pittsfield and continue throughout Berkshire County. AccessPlus has already initiated fiber broadband services in Pittsfield’s business corridor, and this acquisition promises to bolster their market presence.
