Colt Technology Services has unveiled an innovative service known as Managed LEO+. This groundbreaking solution merges Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity with cellular 4G and 5G technology. The enhanced service is now accessible to Colt’s clients in 65 countries. It caters particularly to businesses operating in remote or hard-to-reach areas, offering an alternatives to ensure resilient digital infrastructures.
The service complements Colt’s fiber connectivity, providing an effective backup solution. Businesses with rural operations might often face inadequate network service. The service is the result of successful trials with a global biopharmaceutical firm that operates in 30 countries, many with challenging locations underserved by traditional networks. The trial highlighted Managed LEO+’s ability to deliver secure, sustainable infrastructure, integrating operations and supporting vital tools and applications across sites.
