The partnership between Altnets and ISPA kicked off in 2023 and has been fueling the UK’s telecom sector advancement since then.
The Report presents a comprehensive overview of the sector’s evolution by articulating past setbacks ISPs faced in fiber infrastructure deployment and emphasizing the pivotal role played by solid procurement strategies for the sector’s success. The wealth of information available in the report paves the way for industry professionals to gain insights into the sector’s complexities, thereby enhancing their understanding of the various elements that shape the overall fibre landscape.
Co-founded by Paul Britnell and Sam Bangle in 2020, Altnets caters to the evolving procurement requirements of UK’s telecom market amidst the transition to gigabit broadband networks. The team, known for its expertise in the telecom’s supply chain, provides independent ISPs with indispensable network infrastructure build materials that include fibre cables, ducts, nodes, and access chambers, and aids in achieving the government’s Project Gigabit targets.
