Gigaclear has taken a significant step in rural broadband installations by becoming the first retail fibre provider to adopt Vyntelligence‘s AI-powered Vyn® platform. This adoption signifies a new benchmark for innovation in the UK fibre industry, particularly in underserved rural areas.

Since implementing this technology, Gigaclear has noted substantial improvements. Over 1,100 customer submissions have been processed, avoiding nearly 200 unnecessary site visits. This advancement saves time, enhances first-time installation success rates, and reduces disruptions for customers in remote locations. Following these impressive results, the technology will be rolled out to all customers.

The platform allows customers to record brief guided videos of their premises and installation preferences using smartphones. Vyntelligence’s AI examines this footage, summarizing key information and assessing installation complexity. This process equips engineers and contractors to prepare effectively, minimizing unnecessary trips and cutting costs, while ensuring smoother, more efficient connections.

Ben Woods, Chief Operating Officer at Gigaclear, emphasized the company’s dedication to innovation. He stated, “As the UK’s largest rural-focused full fibre provider, we’re committed to removing barriers to connectivity. Partnering with Vyntelligence puts customers in control of their installation journey while helping our teams deliver a faster, more reliable service.” This collaboration not only enhances service delivery but also aligns with sustainability goals by reducing vehicle journeys and lowering carbon emissions.

Vyntelligence, known for its innovative solutions in utilities and networks, is pleased to expand into retail fibre. CEO Kapil Singhal remarked, “We are excited to welcome Gigaclear as a ‘game changer’ partner committed to improving experience for its customers. Our purpose is to make everyday customer and field processes simpler, smarter, and more sustainable.”

This partnership will be presented at Connected Britain 2025. Gigaclear CEO Nathan Rundle will participate in a panel on rural connectivity, showcasing how innovation can increase broadband adoption in the UK’s countryside. Currently, Gigaclear’s network covers over 600,000 premises in 26 counties, leading efforts to connect rural Britain with the support of AI technology.
