Vodia Networks, maker of cutting-edge software-based telephone systems, is pleased to announce it will provide comprehensive support to all former Panasonic partners in response to the electronics giant’s recent decision to discontinue its Panasonic PBX and SIP telephone systems.

Panasonic users will need to source alternative communications solutions once these items are no longer supported, before the year 2023, and Vodia is ready to provide comprehensive, best-in-class cloud-based and on-premise multi-tenant systems to Panasonic customers.

“Not only can we match the functionality of existing systems, we have also added important features that will improve the productivity of the users,” said Dr. Christian Stredicke, Founder and CEO of Vodia. “The ability to work from home, and from other locations with Internet connectivity, will play a major role in upgrading existing customers. We have a cloud solution ready for our partners, but for those who prefer to continue running their systems on their own, we also offer on-premise solutions.”

For Panasonic users planning to transition to other devices, the Vodia PBX offers easy integration with desk and conference phones, smartphones, cordless phones, analog terminal adapters and FXO/FXS gateways, including the Panasonic KX- UT113/123/133/136/248, KX-UT670 and KX-UTG200B/300B. Installations can mix those devices with devices from other manufacturers. A list of these devices is available here. For customers that need on-premises service, the Vodia IOP can be used in addition to a large range of PC-compatible server equipment.

Since 2006, Vodia has led the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) world in innovation and forward-thinking development, particularly with its early adoption of a multi-tenancy platform for its customers. Vodia was the first company to offer an integrated cloud PBX platform, and it remains one of the very few companies that can deliver it. Vodia’s multi-tenancy platforms are compatible with an unprecedented number of technologies, including desk phones, softphones and APIs for numerous third-party SW and CRM systems.

The company’s Vodia Phone System is an award-winning, software-based office phone system that replaces any traditional proprietary hardware PBX. Vodia Phone System has been developed specifically for Microsoft Windows/Linux and the SMB market, making it easy to install and manage. The system is based on the open SIP standard, so it works with any SIP-based VOIP provider, VOIP gateway or phone. It comes with easy-to-use, built-in customizable templates for resellers looking to add extra value and visibility to their offerings. Options like these make Vodia the best choice for resellers looking for a pain-free administrative experience while increasing the potential for larger revenue streams.

Vodia also develops and provides leading-edge software for Unified Cloud Communications, which is trending significantly on a global scale. Vodia’s products and services – including Vodia IO, Vodia IOP and Vodia Single Tenant or Hosted PBX Software – position the company as a provider of solutions for practically every business communications need.
