Claro Colombia and Casa Systems: Expanding Broadband Capacity with Cloud-Native vCCAP Solutions

Claro Colombia has partnered with Casa Systems to deploy its Axyom™ Virtual CCAP (vCCAP) and Remote PHY solutions as part of the company’s strategy to expand its broadband capacity and create a converged, cloud-native network. Claro is a leading service provider in Colombia, delivering services such as internet, voice, video, mobile, and IoT, and is part of América Móvil, one of the largest global service providers, with operations in 25 countries across North America, South America, and Europe.

Casa Systems’ cloud-native vCCAP integrates full DOCSIS functionality that can scale rapidly to deliver high-speed voice, video, and data services without increasing costs.
