Nvidia and HPE have announced a significant partnership aimed at accelerating the adoption of generative AI among businesses. This new collaboration builds on a decades-long relationship between the two tech giants, promising to streamline AI solutions and integrations for enterprises.

The partnership was unveiled at HPE’s Discover event in Las Vegas by HPE President and CEO Antonio Neri, alongside Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang. Central to this collaboration is the launch of HPE Private Cloud AI, which merges Nvidia’s advanced software and computing capabilities with HPE’s robust storage solutions. This integration is designed to enable customers to efficiently and securely manage generative AI workloads.

Neri highlighted the transformative potential of generative AI for enterprises but acknowledged the current challenges posed by fragmented AI technologies, which often create risks and obstacles for large-scale adoption. He emphasized that the new joint solution from HPE and Nvidia aims to eliminate these barriers, allowing companies to protect their valuable proprietary data while harnessing AI for innovation and growth.

The HPE Private Cloud AI will offer comprehensive support for various AI workloads, including inference, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) using proprietary data. It will also ensure enterprise-level control over data privacy, security, and governance, paired with a cloud experience enhanced by ITOps and AIOps capabilities to boost productivity. Furthermore, this solution provides a flexible, scalable path for future AI opportunities.

Huang echoed the significance of this collaboration, noting that it represents an unprecedented level of integration between Nvidia’s AI computing stack and HPE’s private cloud technology. This partnership aims to equip enterprise clients and AI professionals with cutting-edge infrastructure and services, pushing the boundaries of AI innovation.

By combining their strengths, Nvidia and HPE are poised to make generative AI more accessible and impactful for businesses worldwide, fostering new avenues for productivity and revenue generation.
