Telecommunications and data services vendor BullsEye Telecom and the cloud-based VoIP networks security solutions provider RedShift Networks have announced a new partnership to deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions for protecting and securing enterprise VoIP and SIP-based networks. BullsEye Telecom is adopting RedShift’s VoIP security, threat intelligence analytics and proactive fraud prevention technologies to ensure industry-specific compliance for regulatory sensitive clients in the healthcare, financial and government services industries.

Vilas Uchil, Vice president of Technology and Engineering for BullsEye, said, “Our clients now have access to an incredible portfolio of cloud, voice and unified communications security protection through our partnership with RedShift Networks. Together, BullsEye and RedShift offer clients proven solutions and security to protect their VoIP and UCaaS networks against expensive malicious attacks. We are preventing theft, fraudulent transactions and service downtime.”

As stated in the announcement, RedShift’s Unified Communication Threat Management (UCTM) platform works to establish communication baselines for normal voice traffic in conjunction with unique algorithms to verify and authenticate legitimate users. Upon detection, abnormal traffic levels or call attempts from unregistered BullsEye clients are dynamically blocked. Moreover, RedShift’s approach to the introduction of the new SHAKEN/STIR (anti-robocall) standards within session border controllers (SBCs) is believed “to block the majority of current scam robocalls and stem the tide of likely robocall mutations.”

Amitava Mukherjee, CEO and co-founder of RedShift Networks, said, “BullsEye is truly a leader in recognizing the need for innovative services like these that provide a true benefit to their clients. Working together, BullsEye and RedShift are protecting users from attacks and proactively detecting and remediating robocall fraud in their network.”

According to Mukherjee, the combination of the UCTM software and Condor Labs Security Threat Research help to employ “a real-time strategy with a robust set of time-saving security capabilities, including early detection, reporting and the ability to automatically block VoIP threats.”

Apart from the real-time unified thread research provided by RedShift, BullsEye’s expanding range of products includes customized and optimized SD-WAN, cloud security, VoIP-based key systems, broadband, traditional phone services and IoT.
