Boldyn Networks is making significant strides in reinforcing its position in the European market. The company has unveiled a new strategic structure to bolster its operations across the region. This includes strengthening its leadership team and integrating Smart Mobile Labs (SML) under its banner. These changes are pivotal in aiming to become Europe’s most trusted partner in advanced connectivity solutions across both public and private sectors.

In the newly restructured organization, Andrew McGrath assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer for the integrated Europe business. Alongside this, he continues his responsibilities as Group Chief Commercial Officer and looks after the Hong Kong division. The revamped leadership team includes Antonino Ruggiero leading Italy, Klaus Nagora overseeing Germany, and Mikko Uusitalo heading Private Networks Europe. All these key figures report directly to McGrath.

Elevating Boldyn’s technological edge, Andrew Conway has been appointed Chief Technology Officer for Europe. He will focus on advancing the company’s Mobile Private Networks (MPN) technology. McGrath has stated, “We are shaping an extraordinary business. Europe is a core part of our growth story, and this new organisational structure makes the best use of our skills, experience and knowledge of local markets to consistently deliver the best outcomes for our customers. Boldyn continues to be a dynamic force driving global economies toward a truly interconnected future.”

The strategic reorganization coincides with Boldyn’s rebranding of SML, following its acquisition in January 2025. This branding change aims to integrate SML’s capabilities into Boldyn’s broader portfolio, presenting a consistent brand across Europe. The unified approach enhances Boldyn’s offerings in the market, making it more accessible to customers.

Furthermore, Boldyn Networks recently earned recognition as a ‘Major Player’ in the IDC MarketScape: European Enterprise Private 5G Solutions 2025 Vendor Assessment. This accolade emphasizes the company’s expertise in delivering cutting-edge connectivity solutions across diverse sectors such as transport, military, stadia and venues, energy, healthcare, and higher education.
