In the fast-evolving world of audio-visual (AV) systems, Yealink and DEKOM are tackling a challenging issue: scalability in modern meeting spaces. While new technologies promise intelligent and flexible meeting solutions, the reality for those implementing them is getting more complex. These systems are now intricate networks that are harder to design and deploy at scale.

Yealink’s strategy aims to address this by broadening its portfolio beyond simple audio and video devices. They are introducing full-stack setups that include control and sensing capabilities. This comprehensive approach attempts to streamline deployment, yet partners like DEKOM face the real-world challenge of executing these strategies for demanding clients.

The complexity of today’s ProAV systems is a barrier to scaling. Logan Lu, Director at Yealink, acknowledged this issue, “The complexity in modern ProAV environments is what’s making repeatable deployment so difficult for partners today.” Tobias Weise from DEKOM added another perspective, noting that what seems simple on paper becomes complicated during programming and integration phases. This reveals a central challenge: projects become taxing due to multiple vendors and custom requirements.

At the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026, the focus was on leveraging AI and platform convergence to manage this complexity. AI is playing a pivotal role in easing the burden of configuration and support. Microsoft’s Ilya Bukshteyn highlighted this shift, stating that for them, 2025 was a year of expanding AI to power workplaces, transforming it into a coworker managing tasks across communication platforms.

With increasing technological refinements in Cloud AV and ProAV, the unique needs of each installation become more pronounced. Rooms are now multi-purpose and require adaptable systems to cater to diverse functions. According to Lu, this demands more comprehensive programming and testing, complicating scalability.

AI is becoming crucial as it provides tools to automate configurations and optimize system performance. Machine learning can manage acoustic environments, while design tools can handle repetitive setup tasks. This invisible AI layer not only minimizes operational friction but also stabilizes large-scale deployments.

Despite technological advances, stability remains a cornerstone for successful, scalable systems. Unstable deployments spike support costs and undermine trust. Yealink places a strong emphasis on validating solutions before widespread release, ensuring reliability in large-scale rollouts.

In an era where scalable meeting solutions are paramount, Yealink and DEKOM stand at the forefront, transforming complex technology into straightforward, repeatable systems. As the industry moves forward, the challenge will be maintaining simplicity in an increasingly multifaceted environment, leveraging technology innovations to enhance rather than complicate deployment.
