Flip has launched new tools to bridge the gap between frontline workers and enterprise systems. At the Forward 2026 conference, Flip unveiled the Frontline Identity and Flip Fusion products. These tools aim to enable frontline employees to access enterprise systems and workflows securely while leveraging artificial intelligence (AI).
Globally, businesses are heavily investing in AI to boost productivity and efficiency. However, many of these initiatives focus primarily on office-based staff, leaving frontline workers behind. Flip’s new products address this disconnect by making enterprise resources accessible through a single mobile experience. This integration could unlock more value from digital transformation efforts.
Frontline Identity is a digital identity platform providing employees with digital credentials. It offers modern authentication methods like passkeys, QR codes, and invite codes, making access more secure and user-friendly. Such adaptations are essential as traditional office-centric authentication doesn’t always suit frontline environments.
Meanwhile, Flip Fusion empowers organizations to create applications using natural language prompts. This tool supports HR, operations, and business teams in innovating without needing technical expertise. It facilitates the creation of apps for onboarding, inspections, and task management. The innovation aims to reduce the complexity and time associated with traditional development methods.
Additionally, Flip introduced AI Flow Builder and AI Agent Gateway. These tools aim to streamline workflows and enable AI-powered assistants to integrate with existing enterprise systems. By doing this, employees can access information and complete tasks more effortlessly.
Addressing barriers in AI adoption among frontline workers remains a challenge. While AI tools are prevalent in offices, frontline employees are often excluded from integration strategies. Given that these employees make up a considerable portion of the global workforce, not connecting them can result in missed operational gains and efficiency.
