The collaboration entails the deployment of Verizon’s innovative Neutral Host Network alongside a Private 5G Network within the premises of JEP, aiming to cater to both public and private connectivity needs.
With a sprawling industrial space of 1 million square feet indoors, an equal expanse outdoors, and a workforce of 1,500, JEP churns out approximately 500 heavy-duty truck engines daily. The implementation of these advanced networks is set to revolutionize operations, bolstering efficiency and quality.
The Neutral Host Network will facilitate seamless connectivity to major U.S. carriers, enabling employees and visitors to enjoy robust mobile signals throughout the plant. Meanwhile, the Private 5G Network, operating on Verizon’s licensed spectrum, will cater to business-critical applications, ensuring enhanced security and capability.
