EE has unveiled its new 5G standalone (5G SA) mobile network in 15 major UK cities and introduced a new Wi-Fi 7 Smart Hub Pro for home broadband users. This innovative network aims to elevate mobile coverage and performance, while the Wi-Fi 7 hub promises enhanced indoor connectivity.
The newly launched 5GSA network now covers cities including Bath, Belfast, Birmingham, Bradford, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, and Sheffield. These plans promise improved outdoor coverage and faster speeds, catering to the increasing demands of AI-powered devices. A remarkable feature, “Network Boost,” enhances performance in congested areas by allocating extra capacity to users on specific plans.

New mobile plans from EE also offer unlimited data and roaming allowances for the EU and selected international destinations. Customers on premium plans gain access to Google One AI Premium tools and services like Apple One, Netflix, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
