Spanish telecom giant Telefónica has struck a deal to acquire LineoX, a rural microwave backhaul operator, from Asterion Industrial Partners. LineoX boasts one of Spain’s leading rural microwave radio link networks, providing essential backhauling infrastructure for mobile connectivity, especially in less populated areas.
